Glycolic Acid: gently exfoliates skin by removing dead skin cells, thereby removing excess pigment which may aid with fading dark spots and soften fine lines. Glycolic acid is effective in preventing or treating acne, severely dry skin, and wrinkles.

Glycolic acids natural exfoliating activity acts by dissolving the internal cellular cement responsible for abnormal keratinisation, facilitating the removal of dead skin cells. It also improves skin hydration by enhancing moisture uptake as well as increasing the skin’s ability to bind water.


Bearberry Extract: Bearberry extract contains arbutin, a natural compound that inhibits tyrosinase activity, the enzyme responsible for melanin production. By reducing melanin synthesis, bearberry extract helps lighten dark spots, sunspots, and hyperpigmentation, resulting in a more even skin tone. Furthermore, bearberry extract exhibits antioxidant properties due to its high content of polyphenolic compounds, which protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by environmental factors such as UV radiation and pollution. This antioxidant activity helps prevent premature aging and promotes overall skin health.

Pineapple Extract: Pineapple extract is rich in bromelain, an enzyme with exfoliating properties that gently removes dead skin cells and promotes cell turnover. This exfoliation helps to brighten dull skin, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Bromelain also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for soothing irritated or inflamed skin. Additionally, pineapple extract contains vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and supports collagen synthesis, contributing to firmer, more youthful-looking skin.

Papaya Extract: Papaya extract contains papain, a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down proteins and helps dissolve dead skin cells, facilitating exfoliation and promoting a smoother, brighter complexion. Papain also has skin-lightening properties, making it effective in reducing the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone. Furthermore, papaya extract is rich in vitamins A, C, and E, as well as antioxidants like beta-carotene, which nourish and hydrate the skin while protecting it from oxidative damage. This combination of exfoliating and nourishing properties makes papaya extract a valuable ingredient in serum peels for achieving softer, more radiant skin.

After cleansing, apply a small amount of the Glycolic Acid Peel to the required area using a gauze or cotton pad. Leave the Glycolic Acid Peel on the skin for 5 - 15 minutes, allowing the peel to dry on the skin. Crystallisation may occur on the skin. Once finished, rinse the skin with water. Neutralisation not required. After treatment it is normal for the skin to be sensitive & red. Repeat 1 – 3 times per week. Suitable for AM or PM use.
